Since 1956, the Washington Poison Center has answered calls from Washingtonians needing medical assistance related to poisons and toxic exposures. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generous support of those who see the value in the vital safety net services the Washington Poison Center provides statewide, 24/7/365.
In 2020, our poison specialists answered over 138,500 phone calls and managed 67,534 cases, saving lives while lessening the financial impact to both consumers and healthcare facilities.
We thank you for your generosity in helping us live out our mission to prevent harm from poisoning through expertise, collaboration and education.
