Thank you for your interest, we are sold out! We will post recordings to this page after the series ends.

Join the Washington Poison Center as we discuss overdose. Through presentations from our own staff and from external experts, we’ll explore unintentional and intentional factors that can lead to overdose, how to respond to different overdose situations, how to prevent and reduce harm from overdose, and how to access resources and treatment in the state of Washington. Our goal is to open dialogue, de-stigmatize, and ensure everyone is aware of the help available in our communities.

NEW this year! We are introducing 2 educational tracks to the series: Community Health and Toxicology & Pharmacology. Sessions within the Community Health track are accessible by public health practitioners, service providers, and individuals who work with communities. Sessions within the Toxicology & Pharmacology track are designed for healthcare providers and other clinicians. There are no prerequisites to join either track; all attendees are welcome to join all sessions.

All sessions are free to attend and all will be held online. To receive a Certificate of Attendance, participants must attend a minimum of 5 live or recorded sessions by September 15.

Times are listed in Pacific Time (PT). Reach out to Meghan King (mking@wapc.org) with any questions.
