Data, from case records dating back to 1999, is available on all types of exposures, and can be stratified in numerous ways based on data selection criteria such as age, gender, substance(s) involved, type of exposure (dermal, ocular, etc.), reason for exposure, geographic identifiers, medical outcome, etc. All cases are coded according to NPDS recommended coding standards.
Data is available on incoming calls handled by the WAPC; data on calls to other poison centers may be available upon request by the WAPC or by contacting the national poison center organization, AAPCC. All requests must be presented to the WAPC using our Data Request Form and are fulfilled at the discretion of the WAPC.
