Michele Meaker
Michele brings over twelve years of nonprofit fundraising experience. Over the years, she has secured funding through multiple funding streams, including private and public health grants, individual giving, events, and corporate support.
Michele holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Washington Evans School of Public Affairs and a Professional Certificate in Fundraising Management, also from the University of Washington.
Most recently, Michele served as the Executive Director of NAMI Eastside, the affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness covering east King County. Michele also served on the development team at Compass Health, one of the largest non-profit providers of mental health services in Washington state, where she was primarily responsible for public funding and events.
Michele has an ongoing interest in policy, advocacy, and has many connections stemming from her time as a legislative assistant in Olympia. She lives in Mukilteo with her significant other, and is a furbaby mom to a white Maltipoo named Yuki.
