Limited English Proficiency Health Access Project

For refugees and immigrants, understanding the U.S. healthcare system and finding the right care can be difficult.

We’ve created health literacy materials in many languages and trained social service organizations on how to navigate healthcare. Our next phase of this work will focus on medication safety resources.

Annual programs

Spokane Regional Opioid Task Force

The Spokane Regional Opioid Task Force, a project of Washington Poison Center, serves communities across Central and Eastern Washington. The Task Force brings together professionals in public health, social work, community services, and members of the public to advance local projects focused on substance use prevention, treatment, and harm reduction.

The Task Force also hosts monthly meetings featuring guest speakers who share expertise on a wide range of topics. Meetings are open to all—use the link below to sign up and get involved.
