Join Us for Lobby Day 2026
Join us on Tuesday, January 27 at the Capitol in Olympia to meet with legislators in small groups. There is broad bipartisan support for Washington Poison Center, so we’ll focus on sharing gratitude and our stories to elevate our role as a vital statewide resource and advocate for continued funding. Talking points and guidance will be provided!
Our 2026 Lobby Day will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 8 am- 5 pm. Meetings will be scheduled throughout the day, so your meeting times will be based on the times that we are able to set with your legislators.
Legislative meetings during the session typically last about 15 minutes. Groups of at least three people will meet with the legislator or their staff to advocate for our issues and potential funding requests. Usually, one person will lead the introductions and make the final ask. You will have the opportunity to share your personal or professional experiences during the meeting. These are the highlights of the meetings because stories are what most compel legislators to support our work.
Use the District Finder to look up your district and legislators. You have one senator and two representatives. We encourage you to get to know about their priorities, their committees, their bills, and their interests ahead of time.
Note: We will facilitate arranging carpools for those interested.
To RSVP, or to learn more, please contact us and we will get back to you with additional details!
