2026 Poison Prevention Poster Contest Winners
Drumroll please…
Together with Seattle Children’s, we’re pleased to announce the winners of our 20th annual Poison Prevention Poster Contest!
Adam Bowra, a 2nd grader from Redmond:
Arjun Rao, a 4th grader from Sammamish:
Lilou Hansen, a 6th grader from Bellevue:
Anouka Hansen, a 10th grader from Bellevue:
We received posters from all over Washington on a wide variety of poisonous substances! Using the theme “Pick Your Poison,” students in kindergarten through 12th grade submitted artwork with important facts and poison prevention strategies regarding a poisonous substance of their choice.
The goal of the contest was to increase awareness of household and environmental poisons, identify strategies to prevent and reduce harm, and understand the role of Washington Poison Center in supporting health and safety.
We will celebrate our winners with prizes, class parties, visits from Mr. Yuk, and meetings with local legislators.
Share our winners’ art and celebrate National Poison Prevention Week with us!
