Job Opportunities

Pharmacist or Registered Nurse

Washington Poison Center, the accredited poison center serving Washington State, has an opening for a Pharmacist or Registered Nurse.  If selected, you will respond to calls from the public and from health care professionals for information on toxic substances such as drugs and other chemicals, provide patient assessment and management by phone.  Training in toxicology will be provided.  The position is a .875 FTE rotating evening/nights with a team of specialists.  We offer an attractive benefits package, including fully paid medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, 401(k) with matching, flexible spending accounts for medical and child care and free parking.  We currently have a Career Improvement Program as a way to help our employees develop professionally.  We also offer a competitive salary based on annual market comparison, skills and experience.

Mr. Yuk Mascot

Would you like to be Mr. Yuk?  The Washington Poison Center is seeking a pool of individuals to serve as our Mascot – Mr. Yuk at various community events.
